Greywell Institute

A fixed Term of structure, standards, and record.
ORDINE ET LABORE

Fixed-term online accountability for adults: reviewed intake, written standards, preparation documents, structured routines, and app or Telegram contact routes.

Beta intake open — places strictly limited.
The Term

Daily structure.
Written standards.

Greywell runs as a Standard Term or Extended Term inside the applicant's own premises. Ordinary work, study, relationships, and necessary obligations continue.

What changes is the frame: recorded check-ins, written standards, preparation documents, and House Officer administration keep the Term on record.

  • Standard or Extended Term structure.
  • Recorded check-ins and written standards.
  • Preparation documents before the Term begins.
  • House Officer administration through the issued contact route.
Admission

Reviewed before
active service begins.

Completing intake does not start a Term. Greywell reviews the application, confirms the appropriate route, checks required records, and issues the correct next step before active service begins.

Applicants choose a contact route during intake. Greywell App applicants receive admission, payment, and setup notices by email until app access is issued. Telegram applicants link the assigned House Officer bot when directed.

Fees are disclosed before admission into active service. There is no subscription, and no Term begins until the applicant has reviewed the route, completed the required confirmation steps, and received an official start date.

Who This Is For

For those who want
the daily argument removed.

Greywell is for adults who respond to formal routines, written standards, and external accountability. It is suited to applicants who know what should be done and want a fixed structure around follow-through.

It is not clinical care, urgent support, legal advice, or motivational coaching. The structure is voluntary, remote, and adult-only.

Safeguards

The House Officer proposes.
The code decides.

An automated House Officer administers the day. It does not decide how far anything goes. The limits below are enforced by the system itself, not by instructions it is asked to follow and not by its judgement in the moment.

Always Yours
Raising a flag
The House Officer cannot raise, lower or clear a safety flag, and cannot stop the Governor being told. Raising one is never rate-limited.
Enforced
A Red flag holds
While it stands, no infraction can be recorded and the daily reminders stop. That is a check inside the system, not an instruction the House Officer could overlook.
Calculated
Consequences
Escalation thresholds, penalty length and Term length come from fixed numbers. What happened is reported; what it costs is computed, not chosen.

Raising a flag, ending a cooldown early and filing a welfare report all take effect immediately, without approval. Ending a Term early is different: it is a request the Governor reviews. That difference is deliberate — a structure you can leave the moment it is uncomfortable is not a structure — and the machinery above is how difficulty is kept from becoming harm.

The Governor

A role,
not a personality.

Applications are reviewed by a Governor. It is fair to want to know what that means and what holds it in place. The role is defined by what it is obliged to do, rather than by who holds it.

Scope
Not in your day
The House Officer administers the daily standard. The Governor decides admission, extension, closure and anything escalated — consulted when it matters, not constantly.
Record
Decisions are written
There is no path through the Governor's dashboard that leaves no record. Suspending, exiting or closing a Term each require the word typed in full, so nothing heavy happens quickly.
Capacity
Deliberately small
The number of Governor-assigned Terms running at once is capped in the system. When it is full, admission is refused rather than granted thinly.

There is no name on this page, and that is deliberate. A Term administered well does not require you to know or like the person administering it — it requires the standard to be applied the same way on the day they are tired as on the day they are not. If the role changed hands tomorrow, everything above would still hold. Greywell is a structure for adults: not clinical care, urgent support, or legal or financial advice, and the Governor holds programme authority and nothing beyond it.

Partner Involvement

Support is permitted.
Consent stays separate.

Partner involvement is separate, consent-based, and reviewed before access begins.

Partner access is limited, consent-based, and reviewed before it begins.

  • The applicant nominates and sets the highest permitted role.
  • The partner consents separately and may accept a lower role.
  • Greywell approves the final boundary before access opens.
Limited
Witness
The structure is visible to them; concerns may be carried to review.
Observation
Reporter
Household context can be recorded without replacing the House Officer.
Controlled
Authority
A sharper role, only where consent and approval are explicit.
Review

Applications are checked.
Not every route is issued.

Greywell reviews applications for fit, completeness, capacity, practical limits, and selected pathway. Some applicants are accepted. Some are redirected. Some are asked for a stronger application.

Governor-assigned Terms are subject to available review capacity. Self-governed routes are still checked for completeness before the House Officer path is issued.

Frequently Asked

Questions before
you apply.

What is Greywell? +
Greywell is a fixed-term online accountability structure for adults. It uses formal standards, recorded check-ins, House Officer administration, documents, checklist evidence, and, where selected, Governor review. Applicants select either the Greywell App route or the Telegram beta route during intake.
Who is it for? +
It is for adults who respond to structure, formal routines, written standards, and external accountability. It is especially suited to applicants who know what should be done but want the daily argument removed. It is not appropriate for urgent professional, clinical, legal, or safeguarding needs.
Can I apply if I have a partner? +
Yes. A partner may support the Term if nominated by the applicant, separately consented, and approved by the Governor. The applicant sets the maximum permitted role; the partner may accept that role or a lower one; Greywell approves the final boundary. Partner involvement is not required for admission.
What happens after admission? +
If admitted, the applicant receives the next instruction through the selected contact route. Greywell App applicants receive payment and setup notices by email until access is issued. Telegram-route applicants connect to the assigned House Officer bot. DNS declaration, payment, documents, and pre-Term checklist evidence follow before any start date is set.
Is this voluntary, remote, and adult-only? +
Yes. Greywell is voluntary, remote, and for adults 18+ only. It is not clinical care, urgent support, legal advice, financial advice, or a physical-location service. Full operating terms and privacy details are available in the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
What is Internet Accountability? +
It is optional DNS filtering support. Standard filtering covers core distraction categories. Enhanced adds stricter attention controls. Necessary work, banking, medical, utility, school, or personal portals can be requested as exceptions. The profile is installed by the applicant and removed manually at the end of the Term or when directed.
What if I work, study, or have ordinary obligations? +
Greywell is built around ordinary obligations. Intake records work pattern, household constraints, timezone, commute, privacy limits, and practical restrictions so the issued Term fits real life without weakening the structure.
What does the fee cover? +
The admission charge covers access to the Term infrastructure: intake processing, issued contact route, personalised documents, recorded check-in structure, checklist review, records, assignments, and administration. Governor-assigned Terms also include weekly human Governor review.
What if I need to stop before the Term ends? +
The Term is entered voluntarily and may be exited voluntarily. The Term can be suspended or ended at the Governor's discretion or at the participant's request. Genuine unsustainability is handled directly.
How many places are available? +
Governor-assigned Terms are limited by the Governor's capacity for meaningful weekly oversight. During beta this means a small number of concurrent Terms. The waitlist records interest for manual follow-up when intake expands.
Next Step

Apply now, or wait for capacity.

If you are ready, begin intake. If Governor-assigned places are full, if your timing is not settled, or if you want future contact before applying, register interest instead.

Apply for a Term

Intake takes approximately ten minutes. Applications are reviewed before admission. If accepted, the next instruction is sent through the selected contact route before fees or app access are issued.

Term Route

Not ready to apply directly? The Term Route assessment gives a provisional fit before intake records the formal application.

Register interest

The waitlist records interest only. It does not reserve a place, create an account, begin admission, or replace the intake form.

Noted. Your interest has been recorded for future intake review.

No marketing. No frequency. Contact only when relevant.
